Improve your Written and Spoken English with a Native Speaker!

Hello! I'm a native English speaker from Boston in the United States, and I am passionate about helping my students gain fluency and confidence when writing and speaking in English! I’m an experienced educator with more than 6 years of experience teaching a variety of subjects, including English and science, to more than 300 total students ranging from 8 years old to 22 year old university undergraduates. No matter my student’s age and experience, I meet them on their level to discuss and write about topics they care about in English, increasing fluency and confidence while having fun and being engaged.

In addition to general English language instruction, I am well-suited to prepare students for standardized tests in English, having scored above the 90th percentile on both the SAT (for undergraduate university admissions) and the GRE (for graduate university admissions). Further, as a scientist by training and a current businessperson in the technology sector, I am very experienced with public speaking and writing in professional and academic contexts, and I would welcome the chance to work with students to improve their fluency and contextual knowledge in these areas as well.
