My name is Nikki-Laren and I have almost 6 years of experiece teaching English, including with learners from 3-17 years old. My diverse teaching experience has allowed me to gain a unique mindset paired with a multitiude of teaching materials to offer my students.

For primary learners, I focus on phonics, building reading and wriitng skills, and also gaining confidence to become a fluent English speaker. I have experience teaching 1-1 lessons, as well as with groups of students. Offering students a warm and welcoming environment is very important, as students can learn better with a teacher they can trust.

For secondary learners, I have experience with teaching exam skills for the HKDSE and, of course, confidence building exercises so my students can use their English outside of school, in the real world. Building exam and confidence skills is of the utmost importance so students can use English in many aspects of their lives.
